The Narrows hike in Zion National Park is probably one of the nation’s premier hikes. For that reason, it also one of the most famous.
The park is getting more and more congested every year. It is very possible that this will eventually become a permit only hike.
For that reason, it’s best to get there early.
Here’s what you need to know:
Get there early. When the shuttle isn’t running, parking fills up fast! Once parking is filled out, you’re basically out of luck.
If it’s cold, you’ll need a dry suit. You can rent one from any of the shops in town. Reservations are required.
You don’t need to complete the entire hike. The most dramatic section is the wall street section.
