Explore California
When we think of California, it’s easy to imagine sandy coastlines and summer sun.
Truthfully, the beach is only a fraction of the story.
California is home to the hottest place on earth which also happens to be across from the highest mountain in the lower 48 states. Here, you can explore desert caves and slot canyons, snowy alpine forests, and either a river, lake, or beach; and you can do it all in one weekend.
Personally, I prefer the Winter Mountaineering side of California.
Explore Utah
Utah is filled with some of the world’s greatest natural wonders.
Home to amazing national parks like Zion and Bryce Canyon.
Different seasons transform the state and there is always something to see. You can visit slot canyons, waterfalls, and mountains. The higher elevation plus lack of light pollution also means incredible night skies.
Whether it be fall colors or white snow on red rock, adventure is awaiting.
Explore Arizona
The Grand Canyon State.
Arizona is filled with historical ghost towns, lake resorts, mountain villages, and vast deserts guarded by saguaros under an open sky.
Arizona culture is the epitome of the southwest.
